This ain’t no Bob the Builder. But girls…yes we can!!

And you should see her work. It’s spectacular. Her refined taste shows through in all her designs and her love of her work as a home builder is evident. I had so much fun with her in the studio. Plus she is drop dead gorgeous.
Creating this series of photos was a fun departure and I loved the chance to use my dad’s Danish MCM Kaare Klint Safari chair; another example of great design.
It’s funny to think how far we have come. Imagine us generation X girls in elementary school telling our teachers we wanted to go into construction or engineering or being a doctor instead of a flight attendant, nurse or teacher. I remember telling my 3rd grade class in Belgium that I wanted to be an American police woman. They all laughed. Ha. IYKYK.
