COSTUME.
CANDLELIGHT.
CHARACTER.
Some portraits document who you are. These ones invent someone. Period gowns, painted light, a set built for one afternoon and one person. You choose the story. I build the world around it and photograph you inside it. Made to hang on a wall. Not to scroll past.

NOT
TAKEN.
Nearly everyone who books one of these says a version of the same sentence — "I have always wanted to do something like this." Then they spend the rest of their life looking at the picture.
This is portraiture as production. A period gown. A character. Light built to look painted rather than photographed. Marie Antoinette. A Dutch master. Whatever the story is. We decide who you are becoming, then we build the afternoon around it.
It is slower than a normal session and far more deliberate. Nothing here is a snapshot. Every frame is composed to be printed large, framed, and hung somewhere people will stop and look.
You do not have to be an actor, a model, or the kind of person who dresses up. You just have to want the picture badly enough to show up for it.
SEE THE WORK.
Costume, character, and built light. Portraits assembled one deliberate detail at a time.
FINE ART
SESSION
FAQ.
Everything worth knowing before you book a fine art or storytelling session in McAllen, Texas. Still have questions? Bring them to the call.
Book Your Discovery CallWhat exactly is a Fine Art & Storytelling session?
It is a portrait built around a character rather than a wardrobe. Period costume, painted backdrops, styled light, and a concept we choose together. Think Marie Antoinette, a Dutch master painting, a fairy tale. The result is meant to be printed large and framed, not posted and forgotten.
How much does it cost?
The session fee is $450 and covers your planning consultation, professional hair and makeup, a fully guided session, and your private reveal appointment. Artwork is chosen at the reveal and is separate. Custom wall art is priced by size and finish, and heirloom albums and folio boxes are designed for your home and your story. Most clients invest north of $2,000 in their finished pieces. A concept that needs a custom-built set is quoted individually on your call.
Who is this actually for?
Anyone who has ever looked at a painting and thought I wish someone would do that with me. Women, men, teenagers, and children. Some of the best of these have been made with kids who wanted to be a knight or a queen for an afternoon. You do not need experience in front of a camera. That is my job.
Do I have to bring the costume?
No. We plan wardrobe together on your call and I source what the concept needs. If you already own something with a story in it, a family piece, a gown, a uniform, bring it. Those almost always become the best frame of the day.
How long does it take, start to finish?
Plan on a consultation, the session day, and a reveal appointment, spread over a few weeks. The session itself runs longer than a standard portrait because hair, makeup, wardrobe, and set all have to come together before the first frame. It is not a rushed hour.
How far in advance should I book?
Four weeks minimum, and sooner if the concept needs anything sourced or built. These take real planning, which is exactly why they turn out the way they do. Start with a 15 minute Discovery Call.

GO MAKE IT.
You have had the idea for a while. The gown, the character, the painting you keep going back to. Bring it to the call. Fifteen minutes is enough to know whether we should build it together.
