If you have followed my work, I am big on expression and connection with the viewer. But every once in a while it is great to photograph someone’s profile, and have them look away, because we often see our loved ones as we catch them deep in thought. In a world by themself. Thinking about whatever.
So my message for today with this image is this: Take today to sit and think about all the people you love. I hope that includes YOU. Are you giving yourself attention? Are you remembering to be nice to yourself? Do you remember to say something nice to yourself when you look in the mirror? Have you remembered to never give up on yourself, as you would never give up on someone you love?
Are you stuck on story? Do you feel like your story is what defines you? Well, it doesn’t. You are not what happened to you. You are so much more. So spend some time today to reflect on who you want to be and start saying this to yourself out loud. Your soul hears what you say. Your body is listening. The power of positive thought is incredible and healing. Put it out in the universe and remember that you are wonderfully made.
