These boots were my favorite outfit, accessorized by that amazing leotard. It’s good that @taylorr.noelle15 was able to hold this pose as we perfected the placement of her legs and feet to highlight the boots, and her elbows needed to be in the right spot so she could have the proper room to hold her legs, and head and neck. This was hard work y’all!

We were of course inspired by the amazing iconic image of the fabulous @kendalljenner for @stuartweitzman, taken by photographer Charlotte Wales @charlottemwales and it was one of the images that Taylor brought in as one of her inspiration photos. Perfect for a ballerina with amazing legs! I don’t know that people really understand how hard models work or photographers work to get “the” shot. They not only work hard on the set, which is exhausting, but they practice posing and figuring out their best angles, where to put their feet and their arms and hands every day. They know they need to elongate their necks and hold poses that make them look long and svelte and highlight all their best features and hide the ones they don’t want to highlight, while knowing how to make stuff look good like the clothes, a purse, a piece of jewelry or the boots. They need to practice expressions and that smize that @tyrabanks talks about and is the queen of. I am inspired by all of them! And in my studio we bring out that inner supermodel that you didn’t know was in there. No modeling experience required!

Welcome to Different.

This little studio on Main has a door that opens for every woman. Every age. Every stage. Every phase.

R A D I C A L

Here’s a radical idea. You don’t have to earn the right to be photographed.

You don’t have to be younger, smaller, or less busy than you are right now.

Jeans. A white blouse, one or two, or maybe even three buttons braver than her usual. A necklace that came to say something. Nothing on display she didn’t choose to show, because the power was never about the neckline. Look at her face. That&rs
