Kids and tween portrait sessions are $1,490 — which includes a $1,000 product credit toward your custom wall art or heirloom album. Age- appropriate hair styling and makeup for your tween by Karrie Jo is included. Most families invest north of $4,000 in their finished artwork.

Sessions typically run 1–2 hours depending on age and energy levels. We never rush — we work at the kid's pace. If they need a snack break, we take a snack break. We have candy. We always have candy. You're welcome.

Yes — but age appropriately. For our younger clients a little gloss, a little mascara, a little polish goes a long way. We enhance what's already there — we never cover it up. We want your kid to look like your kid. Just the most beautiful, camera-ready version of themselves.

Karrie Jo is a genius at reading the room. She knows the difference between a six year old who wants sparkly lips and a ten year old who wants to feel grown up — and she handles both with the same warmth and care.

The exception? If we're creating a storytelling or conceptual art piece — think costumes, characters, cinematic productions — then all bets are off and we go full creative. A little boy king needs a crown AND the makeup to match. A ballerina deserves the full look. That's where the real magic happens.

Whatever makes them feel like themselves. The kid who lives in sneakers? Wear the sneakers. The princess who refuses to wear anything but a tutu? Bring the tutu. That sports uniform they are so proud of? Absolutely. Better yet, let them dress themselves with as many things as they want to put on and watch the magic of childhood unfold.
