MAMA
Style Guide
What to wear
Denim is the constant. Wear your favorite jeans, jumper, jacket, or any denim accent piece. On top: tank, tee, button down, sweater, or a cool vintage tee. White, cream, navy, black, or tonal pieces that coordinate with the rest of the group. Think fashion campaign.
What to skip
Costumes, holiday or seasonal prints, character graphics for the kids, neon, anything that fights with what everyone else is wearing. Cool t-shirts are welcome if they coordinate with the group, like a fashion editorial. If you're unsure, send me a photo before the session and I'll confirm.
Shoes
Barefoot is welcome. Sneakers, heels, clogs, sandals, all fine. Whatever you'd actually wear. Don't overthink it.
For the kids
Jeans and simple tops in white, cream, navy, or black. Cool tees fine if they coordinate with the rest of the group. Soft, comfortable, and something they'd actually move around in. Bare feet are great.
How to prep
Kids fed and rested. Bring a backup snack for after the session. Hair the way they normally wear it. If you want HMU with Karrie Jo, add her on at booking. Plan to laugh more than pose.
The point isn't a styled photoshoot. The point is what you actually look like, on a quiet hour with your kids.
Make it denim. Make it you.
