How It Works
Reserve Your Spot
Call or text me at 956-587-9407 to reserve your time on November 14. Your 99 session fee (plus tax) holds your spot. Book by Sunday, November 8. Saturday sessions are limited.
Your Session
45 minutes in the studio on November 14, with two sets: our clean white set for your family portrait and your card, and our red Christmas set for portraits of the kids. Karrie Jo will be on hand to help guide your family.
Reveal & Ordering
On November 23, 24 or 25, come in for your Reveal and Ordering Appointment to choose your wall art and album and pick your favorite image for your card. I design it, print it, and your cards arrive in early December.
What’s Included
A Studio Session
45 minutes, two looks, the whole family together plus individual portraits of the kids.
Your Custom Card
Designed in studio, never a template. Choose eight matted portraits and your first 25 cards are included. Additional cards are available.
Gifts They’ll Keep
Portraits of the kids are the gift grandparents never put away. Framed, matted or in an album, ready before Christmas.
Investment
Session Fee + Tax
Your session fee reserves your time and covers your session. Wall art and albums are purchased separately at your Reveal and Ordering Appointment, and families typically invest north of 2,000.
Matted portraits start at 250 each. Choose eight and your first 25 custom Christmas cards are included (cards are regularly 350 for 50). Additional cards are available. Your cards are also included with any wall art or album order of 2,000 or more. All sessions and purchases are subject to Texas sales tax.

What comes with my complimentary cards?
I help you choose your image, design a one of a kind card around it, and print it for you. Your first 25 cards are included when you choose eight matted portraits, or with any wall art or album order of 2,000 or more.
Can I order the cards only?
Cards come with your portrait order and aren’t sold on their own. The one exception: families who had a session with me in 2026 can order 50 cards for 350 from that session.
Can I order more cards?
Yes. Additional sets of cards are available, and we’ll go over them at your Reveal and Ordering Appointment.
When will my cards be ready?
Early December, in time to mail. To make that happen, your Reveal and Ordering Appointment takes place in the studio on November 23, 24 or 25.
Do you do Hanukkah cards?
Yes! We have a Hanukkah set too. Hanukkah cards go to print first and are delivered as soon as possible. Let me know when you reserve so we can plan around your timing.
Can the kids use the Christmas set too?
Yes! The red Christmas set is available for portraits of the kids on their own, with gift boxes, a giant Christmas lollipop, Santa hats and antlers. Kids’ portraits make the sweetest gifts for grandparents, aunts and uncles.
Can we do multi generational photos or more outfits?
Card Day includes two looks for your immediate family: the family together on our clean white set for your wall and your card, and the kids on our red Christmas set. If you’d like a multi generational session or more looks than that, please book a separate session with me.
Can we bring our pets?
Yes! Pets are welcome on Card Day, provided they are well trained and potty trained. If your pet needs a bit more “guidance,” please book a separate session with me.
Is hair and makeup included?
Hair and makeup aren’t offered on Card Day, so come camera ready. Karrie Jo will be in the studio to help with finishing touches and guide your family through posing.
What should we wear?
Bring two looks. First, your everyday clothes for the family portrait on our clean white set, which becomes your wall art and your card. Then a holiday outfit or Christmas pajamas for the kids’ portraits on our red Christmas set. Classic colors, neutrals and solids photograph beautifully.
Do I get digital files?
Your portraits are delivered as finished wall art and albums. You’ll also receive web sized files of your favorites for sharing on social media.
How do I reserve my spot?
Call or text me at 956-587-9407. Your 99 session fee plus tax holds your time. Book by Sunday, November 8. Saturday sessions are limited, and once they’re gone, I’ll add you to the wait list for my next Card Day.
